More Information:

The second week of August each year is dedicated to recognizing the service and contributions of Community, Migrant, Homeless and Public Housing Health Centers in providing access to affordable, high quality, cost-effective health care to medically vulnerable and underserved people in the United States. This year's commemoration is particularly unique because 2010 marks the 45th Anniversary of the creation of the Health Centers Program.

FQHC’s partner with local healthcare providers, social service agencies, and visionaries like yourself to ensure that quality healthcare is available for all.  Healthcare is a critical issue for Americans, and for Ohioans healthcare is an area of particular concern.  Today, approximately 11.5% of Ohioans find themselves with little or no medical coverage, and very few know how to access available healthcare resources.  While healthcare reform will enhance healthcare access for many, much more work is needed and new challenges will continue to surface.
